Is my organization eligible to become a partner?


To become a partner of Americares U.S. Program, your organization must:

  • Maintain current status of U.S. not-for-profit, charitable, public, or government organization
  • Maintain the legal authority to receive and dispense donations of medicines and supplies
  • Distribute donations to people meeting eligibility criteria free of charge
  • Track inventory donations to the patient level by lot number

Agree to distribute products donated by Americares to people who meet the following criteria:

  • Living with income at or below 300% of the federal poverty level (FPL), and;
  • Either Uninsured or underinsured (including those with Medicaid or Medicare coverage who have no prescription drug coverage, have high-deductible insurance plans, or cannot afford their prescription co-pays)

What documents will I need to have ready to complete my application?


Before you begin your application, you should have the following available for reference:

  • Legal Name of Organization
  • W-9
  • Federal EIN (Tax ID)
  • Medical Professional’s license number and expiration date, if applicable
  • Pharmacy license number and expiration date, if applicable
  • Healthcare facility license number and expiration date, if applicable
  • Dispensing certificate license number and expiration date, if applicable
